Comings & Goings
Meagan Helman has been named creative director and Lauren Hernandez CEO of Tallahassee Ballet, succeeding Tyrone Brooks and Janet Pichard, respectively. Brooks will shift into the function of creative advisor and Pichard to CEO emeritus.
Lily Sutherland has been named competition director and co-CEO and Robert Binet creative director and co-CEO of Fall For Dance North. They may succeed founding creative director Ilter Ibrahimof on November 4.
Alyssa Martin has been appointed creative producer of Nationwide Ballet of Canada’s Artistic Motion program, succeeding Robert Binet.
Julio Bocca has been named director of Teatro Colón, succeeding Jorge Telerman.
Dr. Mariko Silver would be the subsequent president and CEO of Lincoln Middle for the Performing Arts, starting September 23.
At Milwaukee Ballet, Marie Harrison-Collins has been promoted to main artist.
At Boston Ballet, Daniel Durrett and Lauren Herfindahl have been promoted to soloist, Kaitlyn Casey and Courtney Nitting to second soloist. Evelina Godunova has joined as a soloist.
Awards & Honors
Eric Finest, MJ Edwards, Amari Frazier, Roderick George, Barkha Patel, and Leonardo Sandoval are among the many recipients of 2024 Princess Grace Awards. Honraria have been awarded to Miriam Gittens, Emara Vonae’ Neymour Jackson, and Jake Roxander. Tushrik Fredericks, Marcella Lewis, Andrea Miller, and Kate Weare obtained Particular Mission Grants.
Maria Bauman, Javon “Ja’Moon” Jones, and Nubian Néné are the recipients of New Dance Alliance’s 2024–25 Black Artists House to Create residency program, which gives one week of devoted studio and residing house and a $2,000 stipend.

New Funding Alternatives
