  • “On and On”
  • “Frequent Man”
  • “Ramona”

Grace Cummings‘ voice sounds prefer it was shot throughout the universe, gathering momentum and absorbing every thing it got here throughout in its journey to your ears. It carries a number of weight.

On her 2022 album, Storm Queen, the Australian singer-songwriter’s vocals are entrance and middle, with instrumentation that accentuates the emotional resonance of her singing. On her new album, Ramona, the preparations have risen to match the depth of Cummings’ singing.

It is a sonically dense album, produced by Jonathan Wilson and recorded in Topanga Canyon, simply outdoors of Los Angeles. On this session, Cummings talks about why she wished a bigger-sounding report; how Bob Dylan‘s “To Ramona” impressed the title monitor; and why capturing your feelings in a music is one thing you both have or you do not.
