Will Ferrell is declaring himself a good friend to the transgender group along with his heartfelt documentary.
The Golden Globe nominee denounced transphobia as he promoted Will & Harper, premiering Friday on Netflix and in choose theaters, shining a highlight on his longtime friendship with trans co-star and former Saturday Evening Dwell author Harper Steele.
“I feel we worry what we don’t know,” Ferrell instructed The Unbiased when requested why he thinks transphobia exists in our tradition.
“There’s hatred on the market. It’s very actual and it’s very unsafe for trans individuals in sure conditions,” he added. “However I don’t know why trans individuals are supposed to be threatening to me as a cis male. I don’t know why Harper is threatening to me.
