Amy Watson has been named inventive director of Royal Danish Ballet, succeeding Nikolaj Hübbe on November 1. She had served within the function in an interim capability since August.
Daniel Charon will step down as inventive director of Ririe-Woodbury Dance Firm on the finish of the season.
Rosie Lani Fiedelman and Duane Gosa have been named co-artistic administrators of Jennifer Muller/The Works. Normal supervisor Katy Neely has been named govt director.
Anu Giri has been named the following govt director of English Nationwide Ballet, succeeding Patrick Harrison, who will step down on the finish of the 12 months to develop into The Royal Ballet College’s CEO, from January 6.
Jason Palmquist has been named interim govt director of The Washington Ballet.
At BODYTRAFFIC, Trey McIntyre has joined as artistic companion and Lucinda Lent as govt marketing consultant. Katie García and Joan Rodriguez have been named rehearsal administrators.
Nationwide Ballet of Canada first soloist Chelsy Meiss will retire in December.
Awards & Honors
Shamel Pitts acquired the Nationwide Heart for Choreographer-Akron’s Knight Choreography Prize, which features a $30,000 unrestricted grant and $20,000 in programmatic help.
The 2024 Joe A. Calloway Award for excellence in choreography went to nicHi douglas for his or her work on pray at Nationwide Black Theatre and Ars Nova.

Dance/NYC launched its Dance Workforce Listing, a free, searchable on-line platform for dance staff, organizations, and companies within the New York Metropolis space. A digital data session shall be hosted on November 13 throughout Dance/NYC’s subsequent Discipline-Vast Name.
