Sky has greenlit a brand new five-part sequence titled Inheritance from writer-actor Karla Crome and BAFTA-nominee Gugu Mbatha-Uncooked has been solid as one of many leads.
The restricted “occasion sequence,” as Sky has described it, begins filming within the UK and Jamaica this month.
Jonny Lee Miller (Covenant), Sheldon Shepherd (Higher Should Come), and Bel Powley (A Small Gentle) will even star with Storm Saulter (Higher Mus’ Come, Sprinter) directing. The sequence is produced by Snowed-In Productions in affiliation with Sky Studios.
The sequence follows Claudia (Mbatha-Uncooked), an formidable younger bi-racial lawyer, who embarks on a journey to Jamaica to problem an inheritance declare filed by an unknown native resident, Cudjoe East (Sheldon Shepherd), in opposition to Oliver Connaught (Lee-Miller), a rich white aristocrat.
