“Unstoppable” is the fifth monitor on Sia’s 2016 album This Is Appearing. It has been referred to as a “stomping, empowering jam” and “swollen vanity anthem of her “, with lyrics like, “I’m unstoppable, I’m a Porsche with no brakes / I’m invincible, I win each single sport / I’m so highly effective I don’t want batteries to play / I’m so assured yeah I’m unstoppable at the moment.” The track was written by Sia, Christopher Braide, and produced by Jesse Shatkin.
“Unstoppable” has obtained largely optimistic important reception, with most reviewers commenting on its theme of empowerment. Jessie Morris of Advanced commented that the track feels like a “web page torn proper out of Demi Lovato‘s Assured e-book”, whereas editors of different media platforms like Idolator observed this as nicely, which raised hypothesis that the monitor was deliberately written for Lovato.
Billboard‘s Jessica Katz mentioned the track is harking back to work by Rihanna and “clearly follows within the lineage of emotional barn-burners which have change into [Sia’s] trademark”.
Michelle Lulic of Bustle mentioned its lyrics “make it clear is the feminine empowerment anthem you had no concept you had been lacking out of your life. Significantly, in case you want a track to get you thru the remainder of the work week… and that is the track you’ve been ready for.” C.C
