Rhodes would retire from performing in 1978 and go on to a distinguished profession as a instructor and director, main the dance departments of each New York College’s Tisch College of the Arts and The Juilliard College and spending a decade on the helm of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal in between.
