The College of Pittsburgh scholar who disappeared whereas strolling on the seashore within the Dominican Republic is believed to have died after she apparently drowned within the ocean, in line with a report.
ABC Information, citing a police doc, says the tragedy unfolded on March 5 … Sudiksha Konanki, 20, and 5 pals had been taking a stroll alongside the seashore in Punta Cana, a resort city on the Caribbean shoreline.
4 members of the group returned to their resort within the night, leaving Konanki and certainly one of her pals on the seashore. The pair then took a dip within the ocean, throughout which Konanki obtained swept up by an enormous wave and apparently drowned.
The Dominican Republic Public Ministry instructed ABC Information that surveillance cameras recorded Konanki on the seashore round 4:15 a.m. on March 6 — and it was the final time she was seen alive.
Police questioned Konanki’s pals after she vanished and finally launched them with no costs filed.
Konanki’s dad, Subbarayudu, was interviewed by CNN, and he instructed the community his daughter was vacationing along with her pals in Punta Cana.
Subbarayudu additionally instructed CNN Konanki was enrolled in pre-med programs at College of Pittsburgh, including that she was bold and needed to pursue a profession as a health care provider.
