Drive-by Truckers co-founder Patterson Hood has childhood tales, and we do not imply the sort of tales that you just politely nod your head to till the opposite individual is finished speaking.
Hood’s childhood is stuffed with beguiling tales, from uncouth household events to exploding timber and blazing Southern plantations.
Hood, who began writing songs in 1973 as a child, had these days discovered himself revisiting his previous, so he determined to discover what he says was a “very bizarre” childhood. The result’s Exploding Timber & Airplane Screams, his first solo album in 13 years.
