Born and raised in Southern California, McRae discovered her calling in writing, be it essays, journaling and, in fact, lyrics. Influenced by traditional songwriters like Carole King, Stevie Marvel and James Taylor, she additionally acquired a bachelor’s diploma in standard music from the College of Southern California.
